Construction Planning
Design services for the construction and planning phases of projects, working with architects and builders to refine the architectural details of the residences, create functional floorplans, and unique layouts and designs.
Space Planning
Furniture layouts, incorporating existing and new furniture, custom millwork, lighting and floor coverings.
Interior Design
Selections for furniture, custom millwork, lighting, floor coverings, wall and window treatments, accessories and decor are developed based on the findings of the space planning phase.
The E Lawrence Design Process
Over the years, Eric has conceptualized and perfected a process centered on fundamental, time-tested principles proven to exceed expectations for a highly discerning clientele. Here’s how it works:
Eric begins by conducting an in-depth interview of his clients, to learn more about their lifestyles and their needs, wants and desires.
Next, he asks his clients to create their own “look books” with images of specific furnishings, color palettes and décor details which they love and that provide inspiration. After studying these look books in further detail, Eric marries that inspiration with his expertise to show clients how he envisions their spaces may look.
He presents furniture floor plans with one or more layout options, depending on the space and project details. He discusses a variety of options with clients to develop a mutually agreed-upon, customized look and feel for each space.
In the case of a ground build or a renovation, Eric begins by focusing on the selections of color palettes and hard finishes such as flooring, cabinetry, permanent lighting, stone, moldings, appliances and plumbing fixtures.
When these steps are completed, he presents actual pieces of movable furniture, fabrics, floor coverings, wall treatments, and lighting which he carefully hand-selected for each of the spaces.
Upon client approval of the finalized selections, Eric’s team goes into the purchasing and installation phases on behalf of his client. Eric arranges delivery of all the items at a warehouse where they’re stored until everything has arrived and the installation may be seamlessly completed. Every step of the way, Eric and his team personally oversee all phases of the installation process as part of their white-glove, turnkey service to ensure absolute client satisfaction.
